Day 1Queenstown, Doubtful Sound
Travel into World Heritage-listed Fiordland National Park, a land of cloud-scraping mountain ranges, glacially-gouged fiords, rushing streams and lush rainforests. Arrive in Doubtful Sound and experience the true remoteness of the magnificent fiord overnight. Perhaps venture out on one of the ship’s kayaks to discover marine life up close or view Browne Falls, cascading down over 1,960 feet.
Stay: Doubtful Sound, Fiordland Navigator.

Day 2Doubtful Sound, Te Anau
Today you’ll wake to the serenity of Doubtful Sound in the morning, and enjoy a truly relaxed breakfast experience. Following this, disembark the vessel and travel to the picturesque South Island township of Te Anau, located right on the shores of Lake Te Anau. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the famous glow worm caves and drift by boat in the darkness, beneath the iridescent light of thousands of glow worms. Later return to your hotel and this evening, enjoy an included dinner.

Day 3Te Anau, Jetboat Ride, Stewart Island
This morning experience a wonderfully exhilarating jetboat ride across Lake Hauroko, the deepest natural lake in New Zealand, and down the Wairaurahiri River. After a short trip to Invercargill, you’ll join your plane for a flight to Stewart Island, known for its diverse marine and bird life, pure waters and sandy beaches. Take some time to relax before a sumptuous dinner of local produce sourced from the sea and the Lodge’s garden.
Two Night Stay: Stewart Island Lodge, in a bush setting on Halfmoon Bay.

Day 4Stewart Island, Ulva Island
Enjoy the morning at leisure. This afternoon, take a catamaran cruise to Paterson Inlet and visit Ulva Island, a wildlife sanctuary. With your nature guide, discover the local birdlife. Back on board, listen to the informative commentary about the surrounding area.

Day 5Stewart Island, Bluff, Queenstown
Join a catamaran cruise to Bluff. Then enjoy the return drive to Queenstown.
